New River Veterinary Specialists is growing our Emergency Department for our new custom-built 15,000 square foot facility opening in the Summer 2021. 

We believe that there should be no barriers between emergency doctors and specialists.  Daily all-doctor case rounds provide opportunities for continuous learning.  Emergency clinicians work side-by-side with a group of specialists with ample opportunity to manage critical care patients and benefit from the referral hospital environment.  Our emergency clinicians do much more than just “see the door.”  Complete diagnostic work-ups and manage complex cases, all with specialist support, and develop the skills to be a true critical care clinician.  

NRVS has a full in-house lab, 16 slice helical CT, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology suite, multiple ultrasounds, in house blood bank and component therapy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, full service sports medicine and rehabilitation department, and a dedicated intensive care unit including long-term mechanical ventilation. 

We are searching for a clinician who enjoys working closely with other specialists and other emergency doctors and practices top-tier medicine.
