Frankenmuth-Birch Run Veterinary Hospital, a CareVet partner, is looking for a compassionate Veterinarian to join our thriving practice in Birch Run, Michigan. This position offers $100K minimum base salary, generous signing bonus, work/life balance, no upfront non-compete and more!
About the Position
The incoming veterinarian does not need to have experience with exotics, however he or she must be passionate about learning. Either way, this is a perfect opportunity for a new/recent graduate to receive expert mentorship and continuing education, for a current small animal/exotics veterinarian who is looking for a hospital and team uniquely designed to work with these pet populations, or for the experienced small animal veterinarian who is looking to expand his or her skillset!
About the Team
We have a family-like atmosphere with long term employees who enjoy working in an environment where taking care of patients and their owners is truly the top priority. With a stellar history of providing excellent care for 20+ years, the doctors and staff at Frankenmuth-Birch Run have become known as the go-to animal hospital in the region. The practice is comprised of roughly 50% small/companion animal, and 50% exotic (birds, reptiles, amphibians, small exotic mammals, and the occasional wallaby or tiger!) patients.
About the Hospital
The incoming veterinarian will enjoy working with a highly skilled and collegial staff, in a state of the art 4,000+ square foot facility. In-house laboratory, digital x-ray and digital dental x-ray, high-speed dental unit, portable ultrasound with telemedicine and echocardiogram capability, therapy laser, and a well-stocked pharmacy are just a few of the things we offer to our clients.
CareVet Offers You:
$100,000 minimum base pay with no negative accrual
Generous signing bonus, student loan support, relocation stipend and no upfront non-compete.
Custom compensation packages, tailored to the needs of the Veterinarian
Robust benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k with match, company-paid short-term disability and life insurance
Parental support including paid parental leave and adoption assistance
Veterinarian-focused culture, schedule flexibility promoting work/life balance and paid time off with free access to Carebnb, CareVet’s vacation properties
Mentorship-driven experience with strong focus on skill development and CE opportunities
Employee Assistance Program with a focus on compassion fatigue and stress support, including access to CareVet’s on-staff licensed social worker
